Malraux is a theater and concert hall in Chambéry, France. For its new brand and graphic identity, the designers at French studio Brest Brest Brest chose Trois Mille (3000) as the sole typeface for all environments. The full range of the type family is expressed in a bold and playful manner on their website, announcement videos, posters, brochures, signage, banners, and more. 

Trois Mille originates from Marc Rouault’s project during TypeMedia Master’s program in the Netherlands, and is now officially available on the Sharp Type library. The typeface is flexible, wrestles with multiple weights, widths, and has a unique contrast methodology that is perfect for Malraux’s dynamic identity system.
